Mental Health First Aid – two day adult course

This is an internationally renowned programme accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. It qualifies participants as Mental Health First Aiders and is for individuals interested in supporting colleagues, friends or family members by providing help on a first aid basis and effectively guiding someone to the right support services. 

What you will learn:

A two day MHFA course will teach participants to:

  • Spot the early signs of a mental health problem
  • Feel confident helping someone experiencing a problem
  • Provide help on a first aid basis
  • Help prevent someone from hurting themselves or others
  • Help someone recover faster
  • Guide someone towards the right support
  • Reduce the stigma of mental health problems

This flexible workshop can run as from a 90 minute bite-size or Lunch & Learn, to a full day and is designed to empower employees across the workplace to get conversations started about this sensitive topic.

This workshop is for managers to understand the importance of their role and confidently use their skills to create a supportive environment to enable teams to thrive.

  • Develop a greater understanding of signs of mental distress & how it can manifest itself at work
